The March for the Alternative will form up along Embankment in Central London, and make its way to Hyde Park for a mass rally.
The march will begin forming up at 11am, on Embankment, between Temple Place and Blackfriars. Details are still subject to change, but as it is currently planned, it will pass Parliament and Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus, before entering Hyde Park at Hyde Park Corner.
What sort of society are we where young people can work a 40 hour week and still not afford a house and bring up a family,
What sort of people are those that can receive excessive bank bonuses at the expense of his fellow countryman.
What sort of government that can allow this to happen.
See you at the march !!
I’m looking forward to showing my support to this cause. As a direct result of these cutbacks my department was disbanded. We provided a frontline service to people suffering with severe mental health difficulties. This support has not been replaced by the NHS or voluntary sector which is what they proposed because these organisations are already overstretched! They shouldn#’t be allowed to get away with these Draconian cuts. If they’re not spending our tax money on public services, where is this vast amount of money going?
I have not marched since leaving the Army in 1991!!
NO MORE CUTS!
@Sparra – about 3 1/2 miles in all.
Sorry, but it does not look like much of a march. How long is it?
3.5 miles
fight the cuts
A reminder of the Broken Promises made by both Nick Clegg and David Cameron,dont let them get away with it.
